After a long break from survey due to COVID and our recent dry dock our Research Vessel Thuwal is getting back to sea. Using the hull mounted Kongsberg EM 710 we started the multibeam mapping in mid June 2021 and is scheduled to continue for many weeks. Initial results are stunning and many strange seabed features are being detected everyday.

After a quick preliminary process we convert into a VR format and load into our 3d cube system to take a virtual walk through of the seabed surveyed the day before.
